at hotel. Proceed for excursion to Sarnath. One of the holiest places for the followers of Buddhism, Sarnath is the spot where Buddha preached his
first discourse after being enlightened at Bodh Gaya and thus set in
motion, the Wheel of Dharma. Some of the prominent tourist attractions
at the place include Chaukhandi Stupa - Built by emperor Ashoka, it is a
huge mound of brick work very close to the entrance of Sarnath,
Mulagandha Kuti Vihar - The temple built by the mahabodhi society is a
fascinating piece of architecture, Sarnath Museum - the place houses a
vast collection of Buddhist sculptures comprising a number of Buddha and
