Some of the prominent tourist attractions at the place include Chaukhandi Stupa - Built by emperor Ashoka, it is a huge mound of brick work very close to the entrance of Sarnath, Mulagandha Kuti Vihar - The temple built by the mahabodhi society is a fascinating piece of architecture, Sarnath Museum - the place houses a vast collection of Buddhist sculptures comprising a number of Buddha and Bodhissatva images.
