The enchanting city of Udaipur is situated just 202 km (4 hours) from
Jodhpur. The slightly treacherous and meandering lanes strewn with
golden sand present a truly exotic sight. The heat levels are pretty

Stop by at the city of temples, Ranakpur. Renowned for its intricately
carved temples, the major attraction of the place is the Chaumukh or
four faced temple, dedicated to Lord Tirthankara. Sprawling over a
massive area of 48000 sq. ft, the temple is an immaculate example of
ancient Indian temple architecture with 29 halls and an astounding 1444
pillars, all of which are distinctly carved. Also to be seen here is a
four faced idol of Adinath.
