Day 05: Aurangabad - Mumbai
Breakfast will be served at the hotel or on board
the aircraft.
Reach Mumbai and transfer to hotel. Proceed for an excursion to the
ELEPHANTA CAVES.
A motorboat ride takes us to the ancient caves situated on the
Elephanta islands. The islands were named so by the Portuguese who
landed on the islands and the first thing they saw was the statue of an
elephant. The temples dedicated to Lord Mahadev are an arrant example of
excellent sculptural content.
On your way back, visit other interesting sites of Mumbai city such as
the Prince of Wales Museum, Jahangir Art Gallery, Taraporewala Aquarium,
Chowpaty beach, Mahalaxmi temple and the tomb of Muslim saint Haji Ali.
Overnight will be in Mumbai.
