Homestays until recently were considered as just a means of cheaper accommodation for students and budget travelers moving to a foreign land and trying to find cheap sojourn amidst the sky rocketing hotel rents. The traveler in his quest, would use the home of a local person and pay him accordingly for the period while being treated almost like a family member of the host...hence originated the word homestay. The person would also generally be a part of the household activities. The benefit of such an exercise would be that the guest would familiarise himself in a much better way, then would have been possible while staying in a hotel.

Q - Do I always need to be with the host family?
Ans - Being a part of the homestay program means you will be involved with all of the family's daily activities. However, it does not mean you need to be with them at all times. You can also board a bus or other local transport to go shopping or sightseeing.

Q - Will I be taken for sightseeing?
Ans - Apart from traveling along with the family, you can also request us for any other activities you may be looking forward to and we will be happy to arrange it for you.

Q - Will the host family provide transportation?
Ans - The host family will take you along for sightseeing and other activities. However, as the host may be busy with their lives, any activities need to be planned in advance.
