Car Nicobar
Car Nicobar is an enchanting flat fertile land composed of a series of sun kissed beaches lined with rows and rows of palm groves that present a truly exhilarating site gently swaying in the cool breeze. The exotic site of traditional nicobarese houses built about 2 mts off the ground to protect them from the sometimes harsh sea waves is a major tourist attraction. The beehive look alike huts have entrances through the floor.

Great Nicobar
The largest and the most populated of the archipelago, Great Nicobar is scattered over 865 sq. km. The island boasts of having the southern most orient of India, the Indira Point. Composed of varied landscape, the northern split of the islands is a diverse blend of hills and mountain ranges while the other half is fairly flat and even. The Giant Leather Turtles basking on the sun kissed Galathia beach are an attraction for both tourists and naturalists.

Nancowry Islands
The delightful group of tiny islands is one of the most fascinating and picture perfect of the Nicobar group. Take a walk on the golden sands or enjoy a relaxing nap under the sun shade while the cool breeze gently sways by making a melodious tonal pattern. Cellular Jail
The historically significant monument was built by the British during colonial rule, to penalise Indian freedom fighters termed as 'dangerous' and a threat to the 'Raj'. The entire structure consisted of seven storeys each with cells meant to house a single inmate. The jail is witness to the extreme brutalities served upon the freedom fighters by the British. The amusing light and sound show with the backdrop of the phantasmal structure is dedicated to the memories of countless individuals who perished or faded away in solitary confinement.

Samudrika Marine Museum
The one of a kind museum provides a detailed account of the history and geography of the Andaman & Nicobar islands. An exciting place for the naturalists to be, the displays here provide info on islands, people, tribals and the marine life of the area. The place also houses a sizeable assemblage of shells and corals peculiar to this part of the globe.
